How to get to San José del Pacífico?
Getting there is fairly simple. From Oaxaca City, there are three small bus lines called "Suburban": Eclipse, Atlántida, and Líneas Unidas.
The fare is 140 pesos. They travel from Oaxaca to Pochutla, passing through San José del Pacífico. It's a three-and-a-half-hour trip with a 15-minute stop in the city of Miahuatlán on the way. Public transportation is very close in the Oaxaca main square. Líneas Unidas is located at 601 Bustamante Street, as are other nearby buses. Any of these means of transportation can be used to easily reach the tourist cabins that host visitors.
Pochutla is close to the beaches of Zipolite, Mazunte, and Agustinillo, from where you can also reach San José del Pacífico without much difficulty.
